Playing Zombie Games in Smell-o-Vision!

Sorry if I haven’t updated in a bit- well, since E3 there really hasn’t been much in the way of big updates. Been playing quite a bit of Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, of course. Oh, and a little title called Lollipop Chainsaw.
Yep, I got the cheescake-heavy Suda51 zombie beat ‘em up recently, and well… it’s actually quite fun. It’s even more fanservicey than the usual stuff from Grasshopper Manufacture, although not as crazy or as funny as it would like I guess. Still, the game looks gorgeous (like it’s star heroine), plays quite well and has a lot of content to warrant at least a couple of playthroughs. Killing zombies certainly was never this… bright and cheery. There’s still quite a lot of F-words and heavy language which I feel is a bit overdone though, even if it matches the bloody decaps and bisections that inevitably follow a chainsaw-wielding zombie hunter babe.

Anyway, the funniest thing about my weekend playing LC was, as the title of this post suggested, that I played it in Smell-o-vision. Recently there has been a quite irritating scent of dead thing in occasionally wafting into my room… not sure if it’s dead rat or cat. But I’ve searched high and low and haven’t found a carcass in the room, and handymen haven’t found anything in the ceiling above. So where is the damn stench coming from? Perhaps, from the LC disc? Nah… can’t be. Anyway, the game doesn’t stink at all, in my opinion… in fact, it’s quite a winner- haven’t had this much zombie-killing fun in a while… and man, is that Juliet a vision in a swimsuit. Heheh.

Hoping the smell runs out well after I finish the game though… man, what IS making tha smell..?!
